But Will It Make You Happy?

An Article in the New York Times, talks about how people are now finding out what makes them happy and what will not.

Two years living here I know for a fact that is this right; trips and spending time with my PCVs is sooo much better then new clothes or shoes. Yes I do love my new pink heels but I would give them up for a day with friends.

For me after I leave Bulgaria the challenge will be to keep that up. I have said before I would love to have my stuff be a number I know I can’t get it down to 100 but I will have to see how I pack and to see what job I get that will let me do such a think.

I have said this before but I really hope this takes into place, I have seen it over here on the other side of pound and I think us “Americans” will be more happy people if we spend less on stuff and more on trips, friends, nights out that we remember, ball games with kids, able to spend more time with family and friends and not working so we can get the brand new T.V.

The lady they are talking about is Tammy over at rowdykittens.com; who I have now been reading for some time. Let you get some great ideas for living simply!

So with all that save and lets go on a trip to….(the list is endless)
